PICTORIAL WALK-THROUGH IN SINGAPORE

There is nothing like walking around a new place — to soak in the smells, sounds, sights and energy of a place. I quite enjoy walking around with my camera. Here are some snapshots of Singapore.

Singapore by night

Singapore by day
Laser shows are kinda everywhere :)
Singapore skyline at night from the end of the Infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands
Taking a break from all those business deals
Love the colorfully painted doors and windows, not to mention the red lanterns that one encounters often in Singapore
Just one of those images that strike you when you are strolling down a street
Conventional and contemporary — co-exist in harmony
Old and the new
Reminded of a scene from one of those Japanese flicks that I saw. Had to shoot it :)
Kimono tops, anyone?
And sightseeing for the lazy tourists? :) :)
Love their art and sense of colour  even on something mundane as a door
At the infinity pool atop the beautiful Marina Bay Sands
Yeah, it's always nice to have company at the edge of infinity :)
One of the by lanes in the Arab area. Beautiful walls, that seemed like paintings
Graffiti is a punishable crime in Singapore. Yet you will find some daring souls :)
In one of the by lanes
These school girls were going around town on a photogrpahy project. They were really sweet when I asked them to pose for a picture.

They are quite serious about cleanliness

That's moi in front of one the most adorable graffitis that I found in one of the by lanes

Could easily be three generations. Singaporeans are no-nonsense people, but quite friendly and helpful
